My sister went natural with her 3rd baby so I wanted to see how far I could go with out an epidural. My sister Kaycee tried being my dula and help me with contractions by getting up and moving and breathing.
I was at 6 when I asked for my epidural, but I transitioned too quick before it kicked in and I was in the worst pain for about 10 minutes until the anistigologist could give me a "booter shot". It was smooth sailing from there. I LOVE those epidurals and wont wait that long next time.
I was in labor for 5 hours and Miss. Adelaide Dawn Hemara was born at 2:22pm. I only pushed about 5 minutes.
The First thing Addie did when I held her was suck her thumb. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. (but she hasn't done it since)
My kids have LOVED her from day one.
We blessed her at church at 5 weeks old.
We've had to much fun with Adelaide. She went to to Lagoon and Hemi won her a prize.
She has two other cousins (Brigham and Rebekah) 4 and 3 months older then her and its so fun to see them just starting to interact.
Adelaide went to Bear Lake over the summer. You can't tell from the picture but she really does loves water.
If you can't tell she does some modeling on the side. ;)
Addie had her first Halloween and we painted her a baby vampire pumpkin.
Adelaide's first Christmas. She got her first baby doll from her Grandma Laura
She went to town on her birthday cake. Adelaide LOVES food and goes nuts if anyone eats in front of her or if she can hear a food wrapper being open.
Happy Birthday Darlin'! LOVE YOU "LIL LADY"!
