One of my favorite holidays is the 4th of July because it usually means swimming, bbqs, family/friends, out to eat, fireworks, and warm summer nights. Here's how my
4th went down...
Camping with my BFF, staying up late eating junk food.
sleeping in tents
Breakfast at Jeremiah's.
The kids LOVED their tent they slept in all by them selves.
Swimming
Then we had a BBQ w/my family on my mom's side.
The kids loved the little kiddy pool and running in the sprinklers.
Then realizing great minds dress a like... and sit a like. lol
The kids watching fireworks...
After fireworks I got to bed about 12Am and at 3Am I got a call from my sister Kaycee that she was in labor. I got to her house about 4:15 with my mom, my brother Dallin (the babysitter) and all my kids.
Kaycee wanted to stay at home as long as she could. About 5 we made our way to the hospital.
In the room was My mom, myself, Hannah,Kaycee's daughter Abbey, Kaycee's husband Robby, my cousin Ashlie (Kaycee's doula) and Kaycee's other doula Michelle.
Kaycee went natural (for her second time). She did really good. I'm proud of her.
At about 8:45 Kaycee got her water broke and was dilated to a 6. at 9 (15 minutes later) Kaycee felt like the baby was coming. Michelle, her doula kept trying to push the call button on Kaycee's bed to get a nurse in. (not knowing until later that it doesnt work) The nurse never came.
Then Michelle said "The head is out" I ran to the hall and called out to the nurse to tell them the head was out. When me and the nurses ran in the room Eliza was already born.
She is so cute! weighing 8 lbs 1 oz.
Proud sister Abbey holding baby Eliza Anne and cousin Hannah.

Isn't she so sweet!?!
