Good bye March. Hello April

March has come to an end. I was hoping for it to be the month of luck. As I look back I guess I am pretty lucky. In March I celebrated my oldest child's 5th birthday. I've realised I am the luckiest mom ever to have my oldest child be Hannah. She is a dream come true. She is the best daughter and big sister anyone could ask for.

The next "lucky" thing I realize is how very Lucky (or blessed is more like it) that I still have a house to live in, I still have my family here on earth, I still have my cars, my food and all the nice things that fill my house. I am so grateful I am not one of the poor people in Japan who has lost everything this last month. My heart goes out to those Japanese. I hope I never have to go through something as traumatic as that.

I guess March is pretty lucky for me.
I am excited to spring into April and see what it holds for my family and I.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNAH JO!

On March 13th 2006 My friend Stephanie, My brother Spencer, Hemi and I went to Jamba Juice to celebrate me getting started the next morning to have Hannah. While we were out I started having contractions. I got home just after 9 pm and packed my bags. My mom and my sister Tawni joined me in taking me to my hospital. They didn't keep me because I wasn't in full labor. I drove to my sister Kaycee's house . Before I pulled up to my sister's I was crying. My contractions got worse. My sister told me to get in the bathtub (in her swimsuit) and that would help my contractions. So I did, and as I was in there I was crying and my mom tells me my hair looks awful and that I should wash it, because I will get getting pictures when Hannah comes out. So I am in the tub crying and my friend Stephanie is washing my hair. I get out and we think they are close enough that we can go to the hospital now. Its 1 am March 14th and my sister is driving my car, my mom in the front seat, my friend stephanie and Hemi is next to my in the back. We then find out my gas light is on. We stop for gas and I am bawling in the back seat. Kaycee then tries to get me to the hospital thinking we are going to have a baby right now, she is running red lights. We arrive and my friends Stephanie jumps out to talk to have someone bring me a wheelchair. I get in my room and I am only dilated to a 4. I get an epidural right away. Now we are waiting and waiting for Hannah to come. finally we all try to get some sleep in the delivery room. At 9 am it is time to push.
Hannah Jo Hemara was Born March 14, 2006. At 9:55 weighing 7 lbs 15 oz.

Hannah is very girlish. She loves clothes and shoes. She loves to swim, ride her bike, play with her best friend/cousin Abbey. She loves pre-school and church. She is my biggest helper. I love this girl so much. We have a blast together. Hannah also loves music and knows LOTS of artist on the radio. She loves to Dance and has learned some great moves from watching "Dancing with the Stars" one of her favorite shows.

Disney On Ice and Ears Pierced

Hannah and her two cousin's got their ears pierced together. Hannah did awesome. She didn't cry the first hole they made. She tried to fight the tears back but they came anyways the second hole. Abbey did great too. She didn't shed a tear the first hole but for some reason the second hole made her cry too. It was really sad to see. Dallin held Rebekah. It was the saddest watching her. She cried so hard and for a while.
