Lovely February

February has come and gone. It was for sure the month of LOVE. February 4th Hemi and I Celebrated our 6th year anniversary. 2-6-11 My newest Love, Adelaide was blessed. Valentine's day Hemi and I got to celebrate our love again. :) and on February 25th we fell in LOVE with a new car that fits our family perfect.

I am so excited for March. I hope it's the month of Luck!  

Day 29- What I want to do before I die

I want 3 vacations....

 A Cruise

to go to Australia

And a Helicopter ride in Hawaii 

One last thing I want to do before I die is to find out more about Hemi's dad/my kids grandpa. Hemi never knew his father. He met him when he was 2 and 21. All I know about him is he's Samoan and Hemi is named after him. Hemi says he looks like his dad. I want to see a picture of him and be able to show my kids a picture of their grandpa. I also want to find out what he died from.  This task seems so easy but the 2 times I've been to N.Z. I try to find these questions out but no one ever seems to know the answers to them.  

Day 28- Hopes, Plans and Dreams for the next 365 days

To start we are buying a Minivan tomorrow, we decided on a 2004 Mazda MPV.

We hope to keep up our savings for a single family house and for Hemi to be 1/2 way done with his Bachelors.

We also have planned to take a few stay cations. Maybe to Park City,










St. George

and Bear Lake.

Day 27 A phote of someone I couldn't live with out

This one is so hard for me. I have been thinking about this for a long time. Not because I can't think of anyone, but because I have too many people in my life that make it worthwhile. First I have to say...

 Hemi, He is such a great husband and father. We have a blast together.

Then there are my kids... Hannah, Houston and Adelaide

I never knew my heart could hold so much love until I had my kids and somehow my heart keeps growing because each child I have I feel just as much love for her/him as I do for every single one of them. I can't imagine what it would feel like to lose one.
Then there is the rest of my family, if I didn't have them in my life my life wouldn't be complete.

My mom and I are as close as it gets. My dad is the best example in my life.

My brother Amanee he doesn't come around too often but when he does, it makes our family feel whole.

Dallin, Grisel and Rebekah, Dallin and I have been super close all our lives. Then he married the sweetest girl Girsle and the two of them  have the cutest little baby Rebekah.

Spencer and Lindsey, Spencer loves to play around and Lindsey is such a fun person to be around.

 Then there is Kaycee, she is not only my sister but one of my best friends. She married Robby who everyone gets along with. They have three dang cute kids. Abbey, Jaden and Brigham (who is missing in the picture) Her kids and  my kids are best friends.

Then there is Tawni,she the peace maker of the family. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body.

These people are who make my life. I could NOT live with out my family.

Day 26- A Photo of Where I Live

I LOVE living in Herriman! It is perfect for me. Its not too middle of no where (anymore) and its not the city (yet) It's new enough that the homes are nice and kept up. I love living right next to mountains and a 10 minute drive to Rose Canyon. We are high enough up that we have a great view of Salt Lake and can see 3 temples. On my drive to my parent's house (in Rose Canyon) I can see deer almost every day. I have lived in Herriman for 16ish years and still don't get sick of the deer. (Unless I hit them with my car)

In this picture if you look close you can see the Oquirrh Mountain temple and the Jordan River.

I also love the view we have of the Oquirrh Mountains and Copper mines.

Day 25 Worst Habit

I bite my cuticles. The worst is when I am in public such as church and I find my self biting them. I bet people look at me and think "Gross I am not shaking your hand anymore".  So I should really stop.

Day 24 A Recipe

Potato Skins
6 small baking potatoes
2 Table spoons butter, melted
2 tsp. grilled steak seasoning or seasoned salt

3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
3/4 cup sour cream

Lightly grease outside of potatoes, cut small slit in top and bake at 425 F. for 45 minutes or until soft. Let stand until cool enough to handle, about 15 minutes. Cut open potato lengthwise and scoop out cooked potato, leaving a very thin layer of potato interior. Brush outside and inside with melted butter. Sprinkle inside with steak seasoning and Parmesan cheese. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 8 minutes or until crisp and bubbly. Fill with cheddar cheese and bacon. Bake 3 min. or until cheese is melted. Top each with sour cream. Its best if eaten right away.

Day 23- A picture of something that has made an inpact on my life recently.

Of course it's Adelaide coming in to our lives. She has been a huge blessing to us.  Adelaide is named after Hemi's mission in Adelaide, Australia. She is almost 2 months old. She is a very good little baby. Hannah and Houston love her to pieces! They are so good with her. Adelaide has already brought sooo much joy in to our family

Day 22- A picture (or five) of my wedding

The St. George is my favorite. That's why I drove 4+ hours to get married in it. Look how beautiful it is!

Day 21- A hobby of mine

I really like Sewing (once again, not great at it, but enjoy trying) I also like scrap booking. There are ladies who spend lots of money and time in to scrap booking, I don't have either of those but I have fun putting together scrapbook pages.

(Really not a scrapbook diva, but you get the idea...)

Day 20- A Talent of Mine

I don't think there is anything about me that someone could say to me "Wow- you have talent". I can't find anything that I am "talented at" but some thing I really enjoy doing is baking and one things I loved was learning Sign Language. I wasn't the best or fast at it but I had 3 years of classes and loved learning it. If I wasn't so shy I'd take more classes.

Adelaide's Blessing

Adelaide was blessed February 6th. It was such a great day! Thank you everyone who came all the way out and so early to support us.

Day 19 A picture of somewhere I'd like to travel

I'd love to go to Australia.

Hemi went on his mission to Adelaide, Australia and after hearing stories about that country it's one place I'd love to see.

Facebook is a daily (that is an understatement) thing and so is my blog. I also use Google all the time and KSL.

Day 18 My favorite Memory

Thanksgiving this last year was one of the best ones I have had. We had our first Thanksgiving with just my parents and Siblings and it was a lot of fun! This picture is not the best but its brings back a good memory when I look at it.

Who I would want to be for a day is Taylor Swift

I'd love to have her talent for a day (or forever) and her money. I'd also love to feel how it is to be famous for one day.

With a new baby I haven't used my purse it's been a diaper bag and here it is...

Day 11 and 12

A picture that makes me sad... I don't really have any pictures that remind me of sad things. The best one I could find was, in New Zealand I got stung by a bee in the palm of my hand. Hemi had to dig the stinger out. It hurt SO BAD! I never want to feel that again.

Day 12- Something I am OCD  about...

I have to pick what I am wearing that day by going in order what is lined up in my closet also,  

The t.v. and radio volume has to be set on a # that ends on a  0 or a 5. So 5,10,15...

Day 10

Something that makes me happy (besides my family) is... VACATIONS
One of the most fun/beautiful places I have been is New Zealand. I also love going to Michigan and California.

Day 9

My dream house would look something like this....

I want a country look to my house. A big yard, with big trees throughout my yard. I want a wraparound porch and the garage turned on the side of the house just like this one is.

Favorite Quote... "I never said it would be Easy. I only said it would be worth it" -Unknown? I have to keep reminding myself this quote when life is getting me down.

An other one I like is... "A true friend is someone who knows everything about you and loves you anyway." -unknown? I know this through experience. I am so grateful for "true friends".

Day 7

Picture with Closest Person

Hemi and I are truly best friends and we are as close as it gets. We have so much fun together. I fell in love with him before even meeting him in person and when we met in person we hit it off perfect! We have the same goals and dreams...  

But my life would not be complete with out my children. I feel just as close to them as I do my husband, so I could not leave them out of this post. They are my life. I spend every single day/all day with them. They are apart of me, how much closer can you get?

Life wouldn't have any meaning if I didn't have my family.
