Daddy/Daughter Date

This afternoon my Dad asked me on a Daddy/Daughter Date for tonight at the ESA to see the Utah Jazz. I LOVE the Jazz and my Dad so the answer was a defiant YES! It was a BLAST! We got some good talks in on the drive down. My Dad is the perfect gentlemen and opened ever door for me. AND we doubled with my brother Dallin and his wife Grisel. That just made the date even better!

My Dad and I!

Dallin and Grisel

Entertainment was good...Some green guys playing the drums. They looked like grasshoppers

We played the New Jersey Nets and some 5 Utah Jazz ex -players were on that team so it was cool to see them play again.

I REALLY like Thurl Bailey (ex-jazz player) and was so happy when I got to wave at him and he stopped for me to take his picture.

We WON 107- 94 And there you have it folks... My Daddy/Daughter date. Pretty cool eh?

Happy Birthday Adelaide Baby!

Labor: Adelaide was due on Christmas Day and she did as I asked and stayed in til after Christmas. I went in to get induced on Monday the 27th.
My sister went natural with her 3rd baby so I wanted to see how far I could go with out an epidural. My sister Kaycee tried being my dula and help me with contractions by getting up and moving and breathing.
I was at 6 when I asked for my epidural, but I transitioned too quick before it kicked in and I was in the worst pain for about 10 minutes until the anistigologist  could give me a "booter shot". It was smooth sailing from there. I LOVE those epidurals and wont wait that long next time.
I was in labor for 5 hours and Miss. Adelaide Dawn Hemara was born at 2:22pm. I only pushed about 5 minutes.

The First thing Addie did when I held her was suck her thumb. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. (but she hasn't done it since)

My kids have LOVED her from day one.

We blessed her at church at 5 weeks old.

We've had to much fun with Adelaide. She went to to Lagoon and Hemi won her a prize.

She has two other cousins (Brigham and Rebekah) 4 and 3 months older then her and its so fun to see them just starting to interact.

Adelaide went to Bear Lake over the summer. You can't tell from the picture but she really does loves water.

If you can't tell she does some modeling on the side. ;)

Addie had her first Halloween and we painted her a baby vampire pumpkin.

Adelaide's first Christmas. She got her first baby doll from her Grandma Laura

She went to town on her birthday cake. Adelaide LOVES food and goes nuts if anyone eats in front of her or if she can hear a food wrapper being open.

Happy Birthday Darlin'! LOVE YOU "LIL LADY"!

My Latest Craft

I've been in a crafty mood lately and Thanks to my new obsession, Pinterest.com I've found so many crafts, recipes, and hair do's I cant wait to try. Here's my first...
I started with 4, blank stretched canvas from Hobby Lobby. (They are half the price from Michael's)

Then went to Wal-Mart and found fabric I liked. (I went to Wal-Mart because they have the cheapest fabric I know of and I wasn't too picky about this project.) I wrapped the canvas in the fabric and secured it with a staple gun.

I then went on Microsoft word and found a font I liked. Hemi (my thinker of a husband) made "stencils" out of cardboard with the font I liked, and he taped it on the the fabric.

Then we got buttons (I bought at Wal-mart) and hot glued them on.

Hemi hung them in our Kitchen.
And here you have it....

My next project will be made out of the cardboard from toilet paper rolls so keep watch for that one. :)

Labor day Weekend

My family had a REALLY fun labor day weekend. We kicked it off by going to the "Herriman Beach" and taking my parents Kayak. (wish I had a picture) Then we headed to my cabin Friday-Saturday, with my brother Dallin and his wife Grisel. We rode four wheelers, had a campfire and the guys shot guns. (see pictures below)

Sunday-Monday We went to my grandpa's Campground he owns in Ogden. My cousins Amanda and Audrey met us up there to play games. We tented it, and watched a movie (Rio) in there and Monday we swam in the campground pool. It was a lot of fun! (again, see pictures below)

Monday evening my big family + grandma Pete and cousin Ashlie and Luke got together for dinner at my sister's house to celebrate my nephew Brigham's birthday. It was a lot of fun and Brigham was so cute with his presents and his b-day cake.

Here is me, my dad, Addie, and grandpa Pete. (4 generations) :)
