3 very special birthdays...

On August 30th my cute, fun niece turned 5. I have LOVED watching Abbey grow up these past five years. She has been Hannah's best friend. Abbey is such a cute girl. She loves the color purple, loves playing with her doll house and with baby dolls. She is all girl. I am so lucky to be able to see Abbey as much as I do. I love you and Happy Birthday Abbey Marie!!

We love going on vacations with Abbey and her fun family. in the spring we went to ID. and bear world. This is wanting a ride to the pool at our hotel.

NOW, let me tell ya about the hippest Grandma around! Grandma Pete has always seemed so much younger for her age. She is so energetic and fun. A few things about Grandma is... She loves family, she loves to travel and loves the color yellow. I have the best memories of her. She use to have all her grand kids sleep at her house and have a grand kid Christmas party. We still have a Christmas party every year but now that we all have families of our own we don't sleep over. :) I also remember she use to take me to St. George with her in the summers to spend time with my cousin down there. I love your Grandma Pete. I hope you have the best birthday ever.

My grandpa don and Grandma were divorced but stayed best friends. :) Grandma was the best, best friend Grandpa don could ask for.

BRIGHAM is ONE today. Him and Grandma Pete share a birthday and the neat thing is Grandma Pete was in the room to see Brigham be born. :) Brigham is the happiest baby I know. He has the cutest smile. I love this baby SO MUCH! He has the nicest personality. Brigham is all boy. He loves to wrestle with his cat Tootsie and he wrestles his brother Jaden while Jaden sleeps. He also likes to push cars around on the floor.

Bear Lake

We had a lot of fun this summer but the funnest thing of all was this last weekend my family went to Bear Lake.

We went down Thursday, hung out at our condo (18 of us slept in.) and that night we got shakes, went for a drive and skipped rocks on the beach.  

Friday we hung out all day on the water. Doing jet skis, and kayaks. It was a BLAST! Then we drove up Paris canyon (in ID.) and went in the ice cave. (wish I had pictures) Friday night celebrated Houston's b-day and drove home Saturday. The trip was way too short, but here are the pictures I took bellow...

Birthday Boy!

3 years ago today I got induced to have Houston. It was the best labor. I put my makeup on and did my hair before I left for the hospital. I went in at 7:30am and they started me at 8 and I got my epidural. I started pushing at 1 and 35 minutes later Mr. Houston Andrew Hemara was born. It was perfect! I didn't feel any pain or break a sweat. And for the next two years that was how raising Houston was. He was the easiest baby ever! Hardly ever cried and  very content. Now at age 2 he wants to be more independent and more stubborn, but still such a sweetheart! Some of Houston's likes are... Spiderman, Toy Story, Cars, any sport that has to do with a ball, swimming, and trains. He is all boy but the shyest boy I know. He is so sweet. I dont know what life would be with out him. Here is a walk down memory lane for the last 3  years...

 time flies when your having fun!

 It seems like yesterday I was teaching my Bald head baby to walk. It has been the best 5 years seeing how much Hannah has learned and helping her along the way. I can't believe she has just started Kindergarten. I can't wait to see all the changes and new things she'll be doing by the end of the school year.

24th of July Weekend...

My family had our first Kilpack Reunion and this year it was held at our family cabin. Here are some pictures to show some of the high lights of the weekend...

Hemi and I planned a few minute to win it games. One was stacking cups, an other was stacking golf balls, an other was catching pencils and the last one was juggling balloons. (I wish I had more pics of all the games. But these will have to do...)

for some reason we didn't have water in the cabin so we had to "rough it" and do it all out in nature. :) Here is my mom's brilliant shower and my sister, sister in law and myself showing you how it works.

And we have our very own grill master. Robby (my bro. in law) is the best on the grill.

 We also went to fireworks but didn't have a camera for that event and the guys + Kaycee went shooting.  I think we could all say we had so much fun!

Happy Birthday Amanee!!

When i was 9 my parents felt like there was someone missing from our family. They ended up adopting the cutest, littlest, 6 year old boy (AMANEE) from Ethiopia. It was the best experience seeing  him come from a country with hardly anything and try/see new things for the first time such as light switches, drinkingfountains, buy clothes at a store and see him hug and kiss his Christmas presents after he opened them. He got his first bike shortly after he got here and he hasn't stopped riding since. Anyone who knows Amanee knows he is such a funny person and very like able. He has so many friends. I can't count how many times I have run in to someone and they find out I am Amanee's sister they usually say "OH MY HECK! You're Amanee's Sister?" and they usually say something about his awesome biking skills. I don't get to see this guy enough but I want to wish ya a Happy Brithday Amonhole!

End of June Fun!

Our last week of June we had a lot of fun! To start Hannah got a cute little hair cut, she picked herself. :) She asked for it to be short like mine and to have bangs.

Our next adventure...

LAGOON!

Houston wasn't sure what to think about the bumper cars and had no idea how to work them. lol. Poor boy, was scared.

Adelaide enjoyed Lagoon w/the Monkey Hemi won  her.

Hemi sure enjoyed it after he soaked himself in the fountain w/Houston. It was SO hot that was the only way to enjoy yourself.

You can't see us too good but Hannah is in a seat alone with her arms raised and Houston and I are behind her. This was "Bombora" a fun roller coaster that the kids LOVED!

Last but not least WICKED! We had a Wicked good time. :)

The day after Lagoon we headed to Zions and had our Family Reunion. We stayed in a large cabin with all my siblings and my parents. I believe there were 17 of sleeping in the cabin together.
